Tony joined the Los Angeles Police Department in 1989.  Within his first two years on the job, Tony received numerous awards and recognition for implementing a variety of highly affective student safety and intervention programs on the campuses of four major school districts.

In 1993, Tony was chosen as California’s Young Public Safety Officer by the California Chamber of Commerce.  He was chosen for this award amongst every police officer, fire fighter and paramedic in the state of California.

In the following years Tony was highly recognized by local politicians. the media and a host of educational delegates for his ability to provide some of the best intervention and safety programs on school campuses.
